About Bobbi

I was born in Great Lakes, Illinois, and spent most of my childhood moving around the country as part of my father’s service in the U.S. Navy. Growing up in a military family helped cultivate a love of country and service that inspired me to dedicate my professional life to becoming a public servant. In pursuit of that goal, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and American Studies from DePaul University. During college, I was chosen to participate in an internship in the U.S. House of Representatives where I had the opportunity to delve into the day-to-day work of our legislative branch of government. After interning on Capitol Hill, I decided to pursue a career as a public policy analyst and I received a Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs.

During graduate school, I focused my studies on national defense policy, and after graduation, moved to Washington, DC, to work at the Headquarters of the U.S. Defense Department. While at the Pentagon, I focused on improving strategic planning and performance management within the Department of Defense to ensure that senior leaders received timely, actionable data to support the 21st-century warfighter. This work was particularly important after the events of September 11th. My work required collaboration with other executive agencies, the U.S. Congress, and foreign military organizations.

After much contemplation, I decided to leave the DoD and devote time to starting a family with my husband. Since then, we have spent most of our time in Cedar Park raising our family and appreciating our community's many beautiful qualities. I am also enjoying my second career as a real estate agent where being an active member of our Cedar Park small business community is a big part of my day-to-day life.

I enjoy exercising, reading, and traveling with my family in my spare time. I also spend lots of time supporting my kids in their extracurricular activities, including flag football games at our very own Brushy Creek Sports Park. When my children were younger, one of our most precious memories was attending story time at our local Cedar Park Public Library. I look forward to future generations of Cedar Park children experiencing this program at our beautiful new library in the Bell District.  We also made many family memories at Veteran’s Memorial Park, teaching our children about the heroes that serve our country and enjoying just one example of the many beautiful parks in our City. Lastly, we enjoy spending time on our splendid network of trails, either running or riding our bicycles. These moments remind me how lucky we are to live in such a wonderful city!

With all this in mind, I look forward to continue serving my Cedar Park neighbors on the City Council. It is a responsibility I take seriously, and I promise to do my best to serve our City with integrity, leadership, and a commitment to results.

I would love your support today!
